The Heritage Wing is the historical heart of the Eastern & Oriental Hotel. Built in 1885, its Moorish minarets and soaring echo-dome lobby provide the backdrop for khaki-clad doormen and pith-helmeted bellhops to welcome guests to its 100 elegant suites.

Indeed, over its century-and-a-quarter history, the E&O`s Heritage Wing has played host to some of the world`s most celebrated artists, writers and heads of state.

Situated in George Town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008, the E&O Hotel stands at the intersection of Farquhar Street and Penang Road. PINANG SUITE - 241 sq m
A one bedroom suite located on the 2nd floor overlooking the Straits of Malacca with a large lounge, guest restroom, dining room complete with bar, kitchenette and spacious sea-facing private balconies.

E&O SUITE - 522 sq m
A one bedroom suite located on the 3rd floor featuring a private study, lounge, walk-in dressing room with „His“ and „Her“ gilt bathroom complete with spa bath and television.
Equipped with a separate formal lounge linked to a private dining room for up to 22 people, supported bar and butler`s kitchenette with separate male and female restrooms.

The E&O Suite can also be connected to the two adjacent suites creating an even more spacious 3-bedroom suite measuring 638 sq metres.

DiningThe Planters Lounge in the Victory Annexe is a private lounge exclusively for guests staying in the Victory Annexe, serving complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails from 5.00pm - 7.00pm. The Planters Lounge is expected to open on 15 March 2013.
The new Sarkies is located in the Victory Annexe Wing. This new addition to the culinary oasis of George Town offers lovely buffet spread. This new outlet excites the senses and takes your dining experience to a whole new level.

The Poolside Terrace is a unique pool bar and restaurant located on Level 6 of the new Victory Annexe. From here, one can enjoy one of the E&O`s signature cocktails, order some light snacks and refreshments, take in the sea breeze and savour spectacular views of the sunset and the Andaman Sea. The Poolside Terrace is expected to open on 15 March 2013.
